Q&A: LGBT:Entering college in a little under a month, any advice?

Question by atlas: LGBT:Entering college in a little under a month, any advice?
I’m going to community college on August 17th, and I’m starting with full course two to three times a week.I apparently have to take full courses because of my insurance situation.

I’m going for my General AA degree ,with a concentration in some form of the humanities.

I’ll use that to transfer to a state or national university up north(I’m currently living in Florida).

Any advice from experienced users?

Make some friends, learn to listen, don’t brag, and concentrate on studies as opposed to night life. Leave that for the occasional weekend.
