AA degree in Accounting to a Bachelors degree in Nursing???
Question by jaseman1616: AA degree in Accounting to a Bachelors degree in Nursing???
I am going to go to my local community college and start taking courses this next fall. I just graduated from High School. I only have until Im 19 to go to school because I am going to go on a mission (teach people about my church) and that is 2 years long (PLEASE DO NOT INSULT OR CRITICIZE ME ABOUT MY DECISION). I am currently 16 almost 17 (I graduated early). Will I be able to get into a BSN program in a CSU or UC school (California schools) if I already have an Associates degree in Accounting? I want to be a Travel Nurse after getting 1-3 years of experience and so I want to be able to do my own taxes and be good with handling money (which is a good thing anyway).
So I just want to know if that is possible (as long as I take the required sciences) because I really want to be a Nurse and not waste my time or money.

Shouldn’t be a problem; although in 3-4 years from now, there may be some pre-req changes but an associates in accounting should not be any impediment to a bachelors in nursing as you are planning on taking all the pre-reqs anyway.
