My key is Kinesiology and I want to be a Bodily Therapist some day. I wished to function as a Bodily Therapy Assistant as a small expression objective soon after I recieve my Associates of Arts degree in Kinesiology. I was told that to be a Physical Therapist Assistant you have to be taken into a PTA program and then generate your AA degree. Can I still work as a Physical Therapy Assistant with a AA degree in Kinesiology?

I would certainly try for a BS, not an AA. A bodily therapist is a physician, and you want your medical doctor to have a bachelors of science, not art.

Kevin Saunders ? Paralympian, World Champion Wheelchair Athlete and Motivational Coach to Speak to USF Bulls Football Team June 23, 2009

Kevin Saunders – Paralympian, World Champion Wheelchair Athlete and Motivational Coach to Speak to USF Bulls Football Team June 23, 2009

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) June 22, 2009

Kevin Saunders a motivational coach and inspirational speaker will be speaking to the University of Southern Florida Bulls football team about overcoming adversity and breaking barriers and transcending limitations on Tuesday evening June 23, 2009. Kevin Saunders will share his personal story of Tragedy to Triumph and help inspire the players to the display their courage by sacrificing more, working harder and smarter than anyone else, to overcome life’s adversities by making the right choices and never giving up regardless of obstacles you face. Kevin Saunders and Head Coach Jim Leavitt both agree that; “There’s NO SHORTCUT to SUCCESS – but GOOD OLD-FASHIONED HARD WORK!”

Head Coach Jim Leavitt and Kevin Saunders met while working with the Kansas State football team and Head Coach Bill Snyder from 1991 to 1995 in what was later referred to as the greatest turnaround in college football history. Coach Leavitt was the co-defensive coordinator at Kansas State and Kevin Saunders was the motivation coach for the team.

In 1996 Coach Leavitt returned to his roots in Tampa, Florida to start the USF football team from scratch. Leavitt is the alpha and omega of USF football. He is the only coach the school has ever had as he was presented the job on December 12, 1995. He then went about starting football from scratch and leading the program from an inaugural season in 1997 to I-A status in 2001, Conference USA in 2003 and now the BIG EAST and BCS football in 2005.

After the first 11 seasons of USF Football, Leavitt has proven only further that he was indeed the right man for the right job at the right time. Charged with fast tracking a program from non-existence to Division I-A football in just five years time, Leavitt has led the program to an impressive 79-47 record. A mega-success in the first four years at the I-AA level (24 straight weeks in national polls), Leavitt and crew moved to I-A in 2001 and went 8-3, including a 35-26 win at Pittsburgh.

When Coach Leavitt heard that Kevin Saunders was moving his speaking more towards football teams his immediate response was when can I get you down here to speak to the team? Kevin was excited to see his old friend again and speak to his team that Saunders believes has tremendous potential this year. Kevin knows about success by learning the hard way.

Kevin’s incredible journey of survival and triumph began when he was paralyzed by a grain elevator explosion as a young man. Though the doctor told him there was no hope, against all odds he survived. Paralyzed from the chest down, he struggled to find a new meaning and focus for his life. Abused and abandoned by his young wife, his life fell into disarray. Divorced, bankrupt, and utterly alone, Kevin fell into a deep depression.

Show co-host Sheryl Dawson shared, “Rather than remain miserable, Kevin sharpened his body and mind to become a world class athletic competitor. Now he teaches his audiences around the world to move forward in spite of whatever challenge they may face.”

Kevin Saunders has received more than 100 commendations, proclamations and awards for his work to improve health and fitness, education & Sports in America and around the world. Kevin has raced in over 700 races around the world winning hundreds of medals. He is the author of several books including “There’s Always a Way,” “Mission Possible,” “Conversations in Health” and just recently released “Blueprint for Success.” He’s inspired more than 5,000 groups including more than 1,000 schools around the world.

In a recent interview May 18, 2009 on VOICEAMERICA RADIO – Total Career Success the Co-host of the show Ken Dawson added, “If you want to be inspired, listen to the wisdom of Kevin Saunders. Kevin has an incredible story of turning agony into ecstasy, as the saying goes! His nonstop energy and genuine enthusiasm are contagious. Learn the secrets of overcoming obstacles and using your life’s battles to become a winner.”
